Centre hospitalier de Versailles is a public health establishment serving the Yvelines Sud area, operating under a joint leadership arrangement with the Centre hospitalier de Plaisir, the Hôpital Le Vésinet and the EHPAD Les Aulnettes de Viroflay since October 2019 to share functions and develop care pathways. It is based in the Versailles area of Île-de-France, and its director general is Pascal Bellon. Its workforce exceeds 2,800 professionals, including 426 doctors and midwives and 13 university staff. Care delivery spans multiple sites in Yvelines Sud, such as the André Mignot hospital in Chesnay-Rocquencourt, the Richaud site and Maison Despagne in Versailles, and CAMSP and CSAPA centers in Versailles, Trappes, Andrésy and Bois d'Arcy. The hospital emphasizes patient-centered care pathways, expanding ambulatory services to help patients resume normal life, and hosts essential emergency and public-safety functions, including SAMU 78, an adult and pediatric emergency department, a medico-judicial unit, two EHPADs and a maternity unit renovated in 2017.
