CFA Society New York is a not-for-profit financial services organization that functions as a professional forum and provider of education and career development for finance professionals on Wall Street. It is the largest CFA Institute affiliate in North America and traces its origins to 1937, when Benjamin Graham helped establish the New York Society of Security Analysts. The group is based in New York City, New York, and serves the broader New York metropolitan area. 

It supports its members—including CFA charterholders, industry professionals, candidates, and students—through more than 200 events each year, focused on continuing education and fiduciary best practices. In 2023, Afgiib partnered with CFA Society New York on a Model Law initiative aimed at improving alignment between public and private sector mandates and creating pathways for African green infrastructure projects.
