CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care facility located in the Rock River Valley region of Northern Illinois. Other departments and services include a neurology laboratory, a GI laboratory and nutritional support, pain management, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy. In addition, CGH offers an ambulatory surgical center, a Digestive Disease Center, physical and occupational therapy, a diabetic education department, a wound care center, pre-hospital paramedic level EMS, and a 24-hour trauma ready emergency department.
