At Yamaha Champions Riding School (ChampSchool), our mission is simple and urgent: save lives by changing the way America learns to ride motorcycles.

Motorcycle fatalities are at record highs — more than 6,000 riders lost in 2023 alone. For over 30 years, from Freddie Spencer’s original riding school to today’s ChampSchool and ChampU, we’ve been working to rewrite that story.

We bring world-champion techniques to every rider: trail braking, traction management, mental focus, and the real-world skills that prevent the crashes most likely to kill. Our approach has moved from racetracks to the U.S. Marines’ REST program, and now into the state licensing system in Washington, where WMST uses ChampU to prepare every new rider before they ever throw a leg over a bike.

This isn’t just education — it’s a movement. Every student who rides away with these skills is proof that the most dangerous myths in motorcycling can be replaced with habits that save lives.

We believe the next generation of riders doesn’t have to face the same odds. And we won’t stop until this level of training is the standard everywhere.

Ride like a Champion. Ride for life.
