Chapel Hill Bible Church is a non-denominational, multicultural congregation serving the university community in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It draws about a thousand people to weekly worship and supports ministries for children, youth, university students, and adults across worship and other programs. Situated in Chapel Hill, the church operates with a modest staff and serves the broader Research Triangle area through its congregation. In addition to Sunday gatherings and expository Bible teaching, the church connects members in more than 60 Life Groups across the Research Triangle to foster community and service. Its stated purpose is to glorify God by being transformed through the gospel in individual lives, the surrounding cities, and the world. The church organizes its work around three pillars—gospel message, gospel community, and gospel mission—and five guiding practices, including an emphasis on expository ministry, inclusive diversity, holistic discipleship, mission-focused communities, and training and sending.
