Our second-generation designs and our SmartLock patent mean that ChargeBox became the first to provide free device charging with 100% security in lockers using second-generation USB charging. 

In 2019, we introduced our third generation of solutions based on the latest USB charging specification—USB Fast Charge—which will be used by all devices, including laptops, by 2025 in the EU.
