Chariot Robotics LLC operates in the machinery manufacturing sector, focusing on a semi-automated coating removal system designed to improve productivity while reducing environmental impact. Its ENVIROBOT® combines high-pressure waterjetting with a vacuum system to capture effluent, enabling coating removal on steel surfaces with the robot navigating remotely across challenging surfaces. The technology targets marine and industrial maintenance markets, offering a faster, less wasteful alternative to traditional grit blasting and manual ultra high pressure methods.
Based in Palm City, Florida, the company positions its automation as a cleaner, more efficient option for removing heavy-duty coatings, aiming to cut both time and costs in coating removal projects. The firm, with a very small local team, emphasizes its globally patented platform and environmental benefits as central to its value proposition.
