The Charlotte Center for Literary Arts, known as Charlotte Lit, is a small nonprofit arts center in Charlotte, North Carolina, dedicated to promoting literary arts. It was founded as a 501(c)(3) organization by Kathie Collins and Paul Reali, with its inaugural program in 2016 featuring poet Linda Pastan. Since then, the organization has expanded its activities to include a broad slate of events aimed at writers and readers. Charlotte Lit counts more than 200 members and hosts over 100 events each year, centering on classes, conversations, and community engagement.
