The Charlotte Independence Soccer Club, based in Cornelius, North Carolina, serves communities across North and South Carolina as a large youth-to-professional sports organization. It provides a structured pathway for players of all ages, spanning recreational programs, camps, seven National ECNL Programs, and competitive state-level teams. The club also runs inclusive initiatives and operates three TOPSoccer locations to support participation. Its ecosystem extends into ownership and participation across divisions of the USL system, including a pre-professional USL League Two team, the USL W League Carolina Ascent, and a professional side in USL League One, along with a partnership connected to the USL Super League Carolina Ascent Women’s team. A notable leadership development occurred in May 2026 with the appointment of Anthony 'Chez' Echezuria as Mint Hill Director of Coaching.
