Charlotte Soccer Academy, established in 2009 from the merger of two locally respected clubs, operates as a youth soccer program in the Charlotte area. It has grown to be the region's largest competitive youth soccer program and is among the largest in the country. The organization offers all levels of play under the US Youth Soccer structure—from recreation to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy—for both boys and girls. Its footprint extends across Cabarrus County, Huntersville, Matthews, South Charlotte, Uptown Charlotte, and parts of the Palmetto and Palisades areas. CSA emphasizes instruction from nationally licensed coaches to develop players across all aspects of their game, supporting progression within the sport. It is based in Pineville in the Charlotte region and serves the broader metro area. In March 2026, Manchester City announced a collaboration with CSA tied to a PUMA KING Club initiative, marking a notable recent development for the program.
