Charlotte Street identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City art community. 

Charlotte Street is proud to provide a number of strong programs for the support of artists, from free year-long studio residencies for artists, performers, and writers to a national Curator-in-Residence program, cash awards, and the Rocket Grants program in partnership with the Spencer Museum of Art, funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
