Charm City Clinic, Inc. is a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run and operated by Baltimore undergraduate, medical, graduate students, recent post-grads, medical residents, and physicians in conjunction with community leaders. 

The over-arching goal of our organization is to help narrow the severe disparities in health that exist in our East  Baltimore community: To help reach this goal, CCC runs three major programs:

1) The Health Outreach Workers, comprised of East Baltimore Residents, conduct outreach and follow-up with neighborhood residents and Charm City Clinic clients. 

2) In the Preventive Health Screening Program, physicians and other health care providers work with students to screen for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, bringing light to emerging medical problems before the emergency room and providing clients with valuable health-related counseling and support. These screenings also serve torisk-stratify clients and prioritize medical needs so that our 

3) Health Resource Center can most effectively assist clients in accessing the follow-up care, local- and state-run health insurance programs, low-cost prescription drugs, and other social services for which they may qualify.
