Most of the materials are made from aluminum, one of the most recycled materials on the planet, and many Chemetal designs qualify for LEED. Chemetal is a family-owned company in business for over 50 years. We make metal designs in America, crafting by hand and manufacturing at our headquarters in Western Massachusetts. Additionally, Chemetal distributes and markets two other speciality laminates, Treefrog Veneer and InteriorArts. Treefrog Veneer is a complete selection of over 25 real wood veneer laminates offering the beauty of real wood and the ease of a laminate. It's sourced from Italy, and its unique process uses faster-growing and more commonly-occurring tree species to replicate the look, feel and warmth of more exotic and often times endangered wood species, all without harvesting those species. InteriorArts is a relatively new collection of HPL, or plastic, laminates. InteriorArts features textured wood looks and laminate designs not found anywhere else.
