The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a mid-sized nonprofit operating in the international trade and development sector, focused on expanding economic opportunities for women in low- and middle-income countries. It supports women to start, sustain, and grow micro, small, and medium enterprises, while working to create fairer business environments free from gendered barriers. Its approach combines research, partnerships, and technology to help women gain skills, confidence, networks, finance, and access to markets. Since 2008, the foundation has trained and mentored around 300,000 women across more than 100 countries to build their enterprises. It is based in London, England. In August 2024, it launched Road to Markets, a training programme developed with DHL Express and Smart Regional Consultants to strengthen women entrepreneurs' access to markets.
