Cherry Companies, based in Houston, Texas, is a recycling and demolition firm with more than six decades in business. It recycles concrete and asphalt, processes steel, and also handles residential shingles and tires, supplying materials for road and utility projects and for new metal products. The company produces more than two million tons of stabilized material annually for uses ranging from parking lots to underground utilities, pipeline support, and storm sewers, and it specializes in deconstructing structures of all kinds.

As a major player in the construction sector, Cherry operates as one of the largest recyclers in Texas and the Gulf Coast and serves public and private sector customers involved in infrastructure, utilities, and building projects. Recent news indicates Arcosa Inc. acquired Cherry Crushed Concrete, Inc., along with Cherry’s Houston locations, reflecting consolidation in the market.
