Chicago Ballet Arts is a nonprofit organization in the performing arts that provides ballet training through a program structure that combines pre-professional rigor with an inclusive, nurturing environment. From its beginnings in 1986, the school has focused on offering high-quality ballet education accessible to a broad range of learners, and it continues to emphasize diversity and inclusion as core values. Based in Evanston, Illinois, the organization operates multiple divisions, including Preparatory and Pre-Professional tracks, as well as performance ensembles and enrichment and adult programs to serve dancers at different stages of development. Its offerings aim to prepare students for university dance programs and professional companies while providing opportunities to participate in extended summer intensives, and current students join a variety of national programs each year. The organization serves Chicago’s north and northwest neighborhoods and now maintains its home at 915 Foster Street, reflecting its ongoing commitment to community engagement within the broader Chicago area.
