Chicagoland Speedway is a motorsports venue in Joliet, Illinois, within the spectator sports sector. The complex features a 1.5-mile oval track with a D-shaped footprint and was constructed as a $130 million facility on a 930-acre site adjacent to Route 66 Raceway. Each year it hosts top-tier stock car racing across several series—the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series—and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, drawing sizable crowds and offering extensive parking across 500 acres for more than 50,000 vehicles.

The venue serves racing teams, sanctioning bodies, and fans seeking high-profile events and related experiences. It sits within Joliet’s broader motorsports cluster, benefiting from its proximity to Route 66 Raceway and a substantial site footprint for event operations. In 2025, media reports indicated Chicagoland Speedway was set to return to the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, highlighting continued involvement with major national racing series.
