Chick Climber is a small religious organization based in Rapid City, South Dakota, focused on a women’s ministry that combines faith with rock climbing. Its work centers on sharing the gospel and encouraging women climbers, using climbing as a practical way to explore faith and resilience. The initiative identifies God as the guiding force and views climbing as a tool to build community beyond any single location. As an early-stage ministry, it relies on members and partner churches to shape its direction. Its stated goals include developing a website and blog to foster community among women climbers, promoting climbing for women and teenage girls, and helping women heal through shared faith and physical challenge. The plan also emphasizes building friendships, mutual support, and, with partner churches, forming small groups focused on fellowship through climbing for climbers of all levels.
