Since 1976, Child & Family Center has provided mental health services to children and families in the Santa Clarita Valley and the surrounding region. The center offers a full spectrum of counseling and support, including individual, group, family, and school-based therapy, along with parenting groups and intensive in-home services. It operates a confidential domestic violence shelter, and its main campus serves the Santa Clarita Valley while extending services to the Antelope Valley, guided by a data-informed, community-driven approach. It serves thousands of children and adults annually through prevention, early intervention, evaluation, and therapeutic services ranging from early childhood mental health counseling to crisis intervention, school- and home-based programs, parenting classes, and recovery initiatives. The center's multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinicians (LCSWs and LMFTs), family and child counselors, case managers, interns, and teachers who collaborate to tailor treatment for each family. In 2026, the organization expanded its community ties through a partnership with Kaiser Permanente, reflecting ongoing collaboration between clinical leadership and community-based care.
