Child Care Links acts as a link between government social service agencies and families. Income-eligible families can receive needed funds to pay for child care and also education on how to find quality child care. Child Care Providers, parents and employers receive valuable one-on-one support and education from our agency. Free child care referrals are provided to parents in the Tri-Valley area. Child Care Links currently serves participants out of three offices located in Alameda County: Pleasanton, Fremont and Oakland. We are a Resource & Referral agency and an Alternative Payment Program, providing resources to the community by offering the following: Subsidized Child Care services Referrals to License Providers Provider and family education and support services Services provided at each site may vary based on funding requirements. The Child Care Links Main office is located in Pleasanton and provides all the services listed above to the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Sunol. Our North County satellite office is located in Oakland and provides CalWORKs Stage 1 and Provider and Family Education and Support Services to Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Alameda and Albany. Our South County satellite office is located in Fremont and provides subsidized child care services for CalWORKs Stage II & III, Federal Block Grant and Alternative Payment Programs. Provider and Family education and Support Services are also available from this office. The South County office covers Fremont, Newark and Union City. Serving as an advocate for quality child care, Child Care Links participates in many local committees on the subject. Child Care Links documents and disseminates current statistical information about the supply and demand for child care services and serves the community in an advisory capacity to develop strategies to meet child care needs.
