The Children’s Art Guild (the Guild) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to championing the authentic development of children. Since 2011, the Guild has worked to create environments where young people can explore and express their individuality—a vital and often overlooked form of human expression. Rooted in the belief that authenticity is the true art of being, the Guild empowers children and the adults who support them to thrive in a complex and ever-changing world. The Guild has trained thousands of educators across the United States and partnered with dozens of schools in the New York area. It is a recognized New York State Department of Education Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) Sponsor and an official After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP) Partner with the NYC Department of Education. Through these affiliations, the Guild trains teachers, school staff, and after-school program facilitators and provides parenting workshops and individual parent support. The Guild has presented at influential national conferences, including South by Southwest (SXSW EDU), the National School Boards Association Conference, and the National Art Education Association Conference, sharing its model of authenticity, empathy, and creative expression with educators and thought leaders across the country.
