The Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas is a youth choral program within the performing arts scene in Dallas, Texas. Now entering its 17th season, it is described as one of the nation's largest and most prestigious programs for young singers, led by Artistic Director Cynthia Nott. Its mission emphasizes artistry and excellence in choral singing while reflecting the diversity of the Dallas area, and it comprises nine ensembles serving nearly 500 participants from 43 communities within a 33-mile radius of downtown Dallas. The organization presents its season concerts at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, drawing about 3,900 attendees annually. Beyond concerts, the organization conducts regional performances, tours, and community initiatives—including Outreach Chorus Tours, the Summer Singing Camp, and partnerships with the Dallas Independent School District—extending choral music to up to 24,000 additional participants each year, a reputation reinforced by praise from conductor Jaap van Zweden who described it as among the best children's choruses he has heard.
