Manning Family Children's, formerly Children's Hospital New Orleans, is a not-for-profit freestanding pediatric medical center based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a history tracing back to 1955. It positions itself as the Gulf South's only freestanding comprehensive children's hospital, supported by a 263-bed facility, more than 40 pediatric subspecialties, 600 pediatric-trained providers, and a staff of about 3,000 dedicated to pediatric care. The center serves patients from birth through age 21 and is aligned with a mission to advance child health across Louisiana and the wider region, reflecting its long-standing community focus. A transformational partnership with the Manning family led to the adoption of the Manning Family Children's name and supports a broader aim to elevate Louisiana as a national leader in child health.
