Childrens Lung, Asthma and Sleep Specialists, also know as Orlando Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Associates, PA is a multispecialty practice. The practice has both pediatric pulmonary and Sleep specialists. The practice has board certified physicians in Pediatrics, Pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. The pulmonologists in the practice include Dr. Akin Ajayi, Dr. Shivani Verma and Dr. Kevin Kuriakose as well as Mrs. Mary Alice Leinbach, DNP. The Sleep specialists include Dr. Akin Ajayi, Dr. Kimberly Justice, PhD and Mary Alice Leinbach, DNP. This is one of the top pediatric sleep diagnostic facilities in the United States with referrals coming from as far flung places such as Russia, Iceland, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, in addition to the local referrals from the entire state of Florida. The practice has a large pediatric narcolepsy and insomnia program and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy for the management of insomnia and psychotherapy for the management of anxiety induced sleep disorders, and narcolepsy. Sleep apnea management is actively pursued and when necessary CPAP and BIPAP titrations are performed. The practice performs tertiary center level lung function testing for children with lung conditions and asthma and can perform these services in children as yound as 3 years of age. We also do allergy testing and evaluation for gastroesophageal reflux disease (Heartburn).  All new appointments are completed in less than 2 weeks.
