It was founded on those principles over 60 years ago when Joe Choate established the company in 1958. He began by doing residential repair work on heating and air conditioning systems, and it didn’t take long for his reputation of quality work and attention to detail to be known throughout the area.

Now his son, Chris, is continuing the family business with the same level of excellence that has been the key to the company’s growth and success over the years. Today, Choate’s is a full-service company offering a complete range of products and services to both residential and commercial customers including HVAC repair, replacement and installation, preventative maintenance, plumbing, air duct cleaning, insulation, and sheet metal fabrication.

Choate’s Air Conditioning and Heating is a community-oriented, family-owned and-operated business. The Choate family still has a hands-on approach to the business. Chris’ wife, Cindy, works in our office handling a variety of administrative tasks. His three sons are also employed by the company, focusing on different fields of expertise. We specialize in all types of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, including natural and LP gas-fired furnaces and electric heat pump systems. Choate’s also has its own sheet metal shop and staff to handle residential and light-commercial custom ductwork.
