Christ Church is located in Ft. Worth, Texas with a vision to be a hospital for hurting humanity. The church averages 1,250 in Sunday morning attendance and is committed to help people connect with others in meaningful relationships, grow in their faith in Christ, and serve in a C5 role (a role in the church, community, on a campus, in their career, or through a cause they are passionate about). Darius Johnston serves as the senior pastor of Christ Church. In 2000 he led the church through a relocation to a 22 acre campus and constructed a 65,000 sq. ft. worship center in Southwest Ft. Worth. In 2006, Christ Church opened a 40,000 sq.ft. Student Ministry Center focused on children, students, and young adults. Christ Church is active in serving the local and global community. In 2010, 115 service projects were conducted in the community, a free fall fest served 7,000 members of the community, and the church invested over $500,000 in world missions. Furthermore, Christ Church has adopted a public high school in the area and made a significant investment of time and resources. In the coming years, church planting is a major focus of the church.
