CILEX (The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) is the professional association and governing body for Chartered Legal Executive lawyers, paralegals, and other legal professionals. We champion career-long support, professional recognition, and regulatory oversight for our members. We represent over 18,000 members and are proud to offer a progressive alternative route into law—open to school leavers, graduates (with or without law degrees), legal support staff, and career changers.
