Founded in 2016 by Dallas Sonnier, CINESTATE is a Dallas-based entertainment studio, specializing in movie production, movie distribution and book publishing. 

With several movies produced, including RUN HIDE FIGHT, BONE TOMAHAWK, BRAWL IN CELL BLOCK 99, DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE, VFW, TILL DEATH, and THE STANDOFF AT SPARROW CREEK, CINESTATE is a bastion of independent cinema, separate both geographically and ideologically from the studios of the coasts.

In 2017, the company acquired the iconic FANGORIA magazine, additionally developing it into a brand for producing movies and podcasts, as well as publishing horror novels and books.  Three years later, CINESTATE sold FANGORIA to a new operator who plans to continue publishing the magazine.
