Located in northeastern Oklahoma, Bartlesville is the 12th largest city in Oklahoma and the county seat of Washington County. Bartlesville has a population of approximately 36,000 and is surrounded by several smaller communities, with the nearest metropolitan area, Tulsa, located 40 miles to the south. 

From its frontier trade and petroleum beginnings to its present diversity of manufacturing, research, ranching and commerce, Bartlesville has grown to be the home of industrial giants ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, Schlumberger REDA Production Systems, and Zinc Corporation of America.
