The City of Bayswater is a local government authority in the inner eastern part of the Perth metropolitan area, based in Morley, Western Australia. It serves a culturally diverse community of more than 65,000 residents and maintains a range of urban and green spaces, four burgeoning town centres, more than 380 hectares of green open space, and a 360-kilometre local road network. The city operates three libraries and three recreation centres, supports over 120 local sporting clubs through club rooms and facilities, and provides health and social services including senior citizen centres, residential care facilities and four retirement villages, as well as five child health centres and immunisation clinics. It also manages parking, promotes responsible pet ownership, and maintains bushfire readiness as part of its safety and community planning. A recent development is a partnership with Talis Consultants to review kerbside waste management services, reflecting efforts to improve service delivery.
