CityJet is an airline and aviation company based in Dublin, Ireland. It employs between 501 and 1,000 people. Founded in 1993, CityJet originally operated its own scheduled flights but since 2018 provides capacity as a service under wet-lease arrangements to customer airlines, with the customer deciding routes and seat sales while CityJet operates the flights and provides the crews. The fleet comprises 21 CRJ900s and six CRJ1000s, with most aircraft under wet-lease contracts for SAS Scandinavian Airlines and six CRJ1000s operated on behalf of Lufthansa. A substantial portion of staff—over 450 of roughly 600—are based in Copenhagen, Denmark, making CityJet one of the significant airline employers in the country, with a crew base also in Stockholm Arlanda to support operations in Sweden and Frankfurt services for Lufthansa. Maintenance and training are conducted at Hangar 3, Copenhagen Kastrup Airport, while Dublin Airport hosts the administration base along with OCC and CAMO functions.
