CitySquash is a not-for-profit after-school enrichment program based in the Bronx at Fordham University. It serves motivated students from economically disadvantaged households in the Bronx, helping them reach their academic, athletic, and personal potential. Founded in 2002, CitySquash works with students from third grade through college graduation and currently serves about 140 students across elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. The program combines squash, tutoring, mentoring, community service, travel, culture, high school placement, employment training, and college preparation as a year-round commitment. A recent partnership with Fordham Law Compliance Affinity Group, together with a new building and the ongoing partnership with Fordham University, enables CitySquash to begin expanding to double the number of students served.
