Civic Hall is a New York–based organization in the civic and social sector focused on closing the digital skills gap and preparing the workforce for future needs. It is positioned in Union Square as part of the local tech community and plans an 85,000-square-foot learning and training center in the Zero Irving building. The center is intended to bring together high-impact tenants and workforce training partners to serve New Yorkers, especially those from underserved communities. Its activities include partnerships and programs that connect education, entrepreneurship, and workforce development across the city. In 2026, Civic Hall announced the launch of its Summer STEM and Innovation Camp, a four-week program for middle and high school students to explore technology, hands-on learning, and future career pathways. These efforts illustrate Civic Hall's role in expanding access to STEM education and fostering cross-sector collaboration in New York City.
