C.J. Mahan Construction Company, LLC operates as a heavy-civil and marine contractor based in Grove City, Ohio, undertaking complex infrastructure projects. Over more than four decades, the firm has designed and built a broad spectrum of bridge types, including welded steel girder, cable-stayed steel and concrete, long-span steel truss, railroad, precast concrete, and concrete segmental bridges, many involving work over navigable waterways. The company's marine capabilities extend to lock chambers, gate structures, dams, piers and industrial docks, as well as barge loading facilities and deep-water cofferdams, and it performs deep foundation work such as drilled shafts, large-diameter driven piles, micro-piles, and sizable reinforced concrete spread footings.

Its clientele includes public-sector and infrastructure programs in the eastern United States, with projects that require marine access and challenging site conditions. In early 2026, the U.S. Army's Nashville District awarded CJ Mahan a base approach wall and decommissioning contract, reflecting ongoing involvement in major government infrastructure work.
