C.L. Benton & Sons, Inc. is a construction services firm based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with a long history of contributing to the area’s built environment. The company operates through three divisions—roadwork, water and sewer, and a division focused on pile driving and deep foundations—and it also builds golf courses and works on subdivisions, airports, malls, and restaurants, with most site work concentrated locally while the pile-driving unit handles projects statewide. 

Casper Leon Benton founded the company in the 1920s, and it was incorporated in 1964 after changes in leadership. Today it is led by the third generation, with James Benton’s sons Carson and Lawton overseeing operations after joining the business in 1983. Its Myrtle Beach portfolio includes notable projects such as Wachesaw Plantation, a Tom Fazio designed golf course and private community, and Ocean Creek, a private oceanfront resort, alongside the Waccamaw Pottery mall and several amusement and dining venues. The firm also contributed to regional infrastructure, including the construction of Highway 17.
