Christopher L. McCoy started C.L. McCoy Framing Co. in 1988 as a contracting company that employed two family members. Today, C.L. McCoy Framing (CLM) is a Minority Business Enterprise and a S Corporation. The company is one of the leading sub-contractors/Contracting & Developers in the City of Baltimore and continues to grow through the quality of our work and dedication to our founding principles: serving our clients, serving our community, and serving our employees. Over the past 25 years, CLM has worked primarily on projects in the densely populated sections of Baltimore City. During this time the company became aware of the continuing need to hire community residents as a part of the building process. Today, our company employs more than 30 employees with most being community residents. In 1993, the C.L. McCoy Framing had the category of “Developer” added to its resume by the City of Baltimore Minority and Women’s Business Opportunity Office. As a result, CLM has been successful in many endeavors as either Joint Venture Partners or limited partners in projects. C.L. McCoy Framing has a broad base of organizations completing work as either the General Contractor or subcontractor from privately held firms to governmental agencies to 501(c)3 non-profits.
