The Clayton Center for the Arts is a cultural venue on the Maryville College campus in Maryville, Tennessee. It arose from a partnership among Maryville College and the cities of Maryville and Alcoa. The complex comprises the Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre (1,200 seats) for dance, theatre, concerts, and lectures; the Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall (250 seats) for musicians and performers; and the Haslam Family Flexible Theatre (200 seats) for theatrical productions by amateur and professional groups, plus three galleries. It is described as East Tennessee's newest venue for arts and entertainment, offering a range of performing arts and visual art experiences. In May 2023, Blake Smith left his role as general manager, a development noted by the institution.
