We provide long-term mentorship support to underrepresented minority students in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine (STEMM) from their sophomore year in high school to their sophomore year in college and into their first-ever STEMM internships. We aim to be an engine of promoting justice in STEMM education, research, and our communities at large. We believe that diversity makes us stronger, lost talent to STEMM impedes our ability to discover, and that communities of inclusion with ample access to good mentorship are evidence-driven methods of retaining diverse talent. We know that the STEMM workforces are made of people, not machines, and thus we focus on building long-term relationships that empower mentors and fellows alike to feel whole, accomplished, creative, connected, and self-actualized.
