ClearHealth Quality Institute™ (CHQI) is an independent health care accrediting body dedicated to creating innovative accreditation programs and compliance solutions that improve the health insurance and provider systems of care. CHQI’s Telemedicine Accreditation Program and Mental Health Parity/Substance Use Disorder Accreditation Program collectively accredit the nation’s leading health plans, health systems, and telemedicine organizations. CHQI is governed by an independent board and committee system, which is open to a wide range of volunteer members to ensure transparency and accountability.

Telemedicine Accreditation Program 
The CHQI Telemedicine Accreditation Program (TAP), developed in partnership with the American Telemedicine Association, offers a comprehensive framework for evaluating the safety, efficacy, and quality of telemedicine services and programs. 

Mental Health Parity Accreditation Program
The CHQI Mental Health Substance Use Disorder Parity Accreditation Program establishes the nation’s first accreditation standards outlining a logical sequence of steps for health insurers, health benefits administrators and others to assess their compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (the Federal Parity Law).
