The Cleveland Transformation Alliance (CTA) is a new advocacy organization working to ensure that every child in Cleveland, Ohio attends an excellent school, and that families have a multitude of great school options from which to choose. Dedicated to reinventing public education in our city, we are a public/private partnership governed by a Board of 29 stakeholders and Chaired by Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson. The Cleveland Transformation Alliance will work to ensure every child attends an excellent school. To do this the CTA will fulfill four roles: 1. Ensure fidelity to the citywide education plan (The Cleveland Plan), 2. Assess the quality of all Cleveland schools, 3. Communicate to families about quality school choices, and 4. Monitor charter sector quality and growth.
