Clown Antics LLC operates in the technology, information, and internet sector as a retailer focused on clown-related apparel, props, and related materials for both professionals and enthusiasts. The company began in 1988 near San Diego, California, and has since evolved into an online retailer that provides a range of items for the clown community, emphasizing customer service and a curated selection of clown wares. Based in Connecticut, the business serves customers who perform or enjoy clowning, addressing needs for clothing and props used in professional performances and amateur activities alike. The organization occupies a niche within its industry by combining a traditional, niche focus with online retail capabilities, continuing a family-involved legacy through ongoing management changes. A notable recent development is the transition of ownership in 2009, with Pamela Baker remaining to support continuity in customer service and product offerings for clown enthusiasts.
