Coamo Agroindustrial Cooperativa was founded in 1970 by 79 farmers in Campo Mourão, Paraná. It serves more than 32,000 associated farmers and operates more than 125 units across 81 municipalities in Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Mato Grosso do Sul. The cooperative holds storage capacity of about 6.264 million tons to support members' production, with soy as the primary crop received, followed by corn, wheat, and coffee. Its manufacturing complex adds value through processes such as soybean crushing, margarines and vegetable fats production, refined soybean oil, cotton yarns, wheat milling, coffee roasting and grinding, and animal feed production, and it maintains a maritime terminal at Paranaguá. Based in Campo Mourão, the organization maintains a broad regional footprint and accounted for about 2.7% of Brazil's grain production in 2025. In March 2025, Coamo selected ICM Inc. to design and engineer a new corn biorefinery in Brazil.
