Coastal Athletic Association is a mid-sized collegiate athletic conference based in Richmond, Virginia. It organizes championships in 24 sports for both men and women and spans a footprint along the East Coast from Boston to Charleston. The conference highlights both athletic excellence and academic achievement, including national champions, national players and coaches of the year, and scholars such as Rhodes and NCAA post-graduate recipients. During 2022-23, more than 3,500 student-athletes earned the Commissioner's Academic Award for maintaining a 3.0 GPA while competing in varsity sports, and the conference's markets provide a television audience exceeding 20 million homes. The organization also maintains active partnerships with industry partners, including a January 2026 extension of its relationship with Canon U.S.A.
