Coastal Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International operating in Southern Monmouth County, New Jersey, with a focus on helping families secure decent housing. Through volunteer involvement, the organization builds new homes and repairs existing ones, providing safe, durable shelter for its partner families. Since its founding, it has constructed 15 homes and repaired more than 100, positively impacting hundreds of lives across communities including Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Avon by the Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Deal, Interlaken, Lake Como, Loch Arbour, Manasquan, Neptune, Neptune Township, Ocean Township, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights and Wall. 

The group is based in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey, and was established in 1994 by ten local friends. It operates with a hand-up approach to assist partner families and homeowners throughout its service area through volunteer-driven construction and repair work. A recent governance development noted in 2021 was the appointment of Ashley Ackerman, CPA, to Coastal Habitat for Humanity’s board of directors.
