Our lawyers are former Texas state prosecutors and partner Cody Cofer is also a former Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Texas.

Fort Worth criminal defense attorney Cody Cofer is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He began his criminal law career as a trial and appellate prosecutor. James Luster is a former Tarrant County felony and misdemeanor prosecutor. The two law partners met as “baby prosecutors” 10 years ago. In every criminal case, both lawyers bring to bear a significant amount of experience, education, and training.
