The ColdAvenger LLC designs and develops mission-specific cold weather face masks, balaclavas, and clothing. In a market saturated with low-technology and fashion-driven options, the ColdAvenger LLC offers much more than simply covering the face, head and neck.

Born through function inspired design to meet needs of consumers in the snowsports, fitness, workwear safety, military and health (asthma, COPD, cardiovascular disease, etc.) channels, the ColdAvenger offers the following functions and features:

1. Provide thermal protection from the elements:
This is a basic function of any quality cold weather face mask and our designs and materials are form-fitted and hand-selected to offer the highest level of thermal protection. 

2. Allow free and natural breathing through both the nose and mouth:
No other mask on the market can make these claims. There is ample evidence that breathing freely through both the nose and mouth allow for a higher level of comfort and performance.

3. Passively warm and humidify inhaled air:
Breathing warm and humidified air has been shown to be very important to airway health during periods of cold air exposure. Breathing warmer air has also been shown to help support core temperatures in the cold. Lastly achieving these functions without mechanical parts is a very important part of the design that makes the ColdAvenger affordable and durable. 

4. Manage exhaled moisture away from the facial skin:
Cold and we moisture against the facial skin can worse than extremely uncomfortable, it can create easy places for frostbite to set in. No other mask on the market can make these claims.

5. Prevent the fogging of goggles and other eye wear:
Arguably one of the most important features because if you can’t see you can’t play or work safely. Again, no other mask on the market can make these claims.
