Coliban Water is a Victorian regional urban water corporation responsible for delivering water and wastewater services to rural and urban communities in north-central Victoria. The utility operates and maintains more than 50 reservoirs and storage basins, spanning 16,550 square kilometers and serving about 49 towns across roughly 20 percent of Victoria, from Cohuna and Echuca in the north to Kyneton and Trentham in the south. Its governance sits with the Victorian Government, with accountability to the Minister for Water. The organization was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority and was reconstituted as Coliban Region Water Corporation in 2007, and it is based in Bendigo. In March 2026, Coliban Water was recognised for the quality of its tap water, winning the Best Tasting Tap Water in Victoria at the IXOM Best Tasting Tap Water Competition during the Water Industry Operations Association conference.
