An energetic industry upstart launched in 2009, Colnatec has established new industry standards in the design, development, and manufacturing of innovative, high-performance film thickness sensors and electronic instrumentation used in ALD, CIGS, OLED, PVD, MBE, and CVD applications for the production of flexible displays (cell phones, monitors) and lighting, optics, thin film solar cells, high-speed electrical devices, and semiconductor wafers. 

Through the use of Colnatec's patented and patent-pending technologies, researchers, manufacturers, and system-builders are able to increase the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic films, reduce production and run times and costs, and improve overall performance - ultimately achieving significant boosts in yield!

Manufacturer of the only commercially available high temperature (up to 500°C) quartz crystal microbalance, Colnatec is the holder of numerous patents, the recipient of Department of Energy Phase I and Phase II SBIR awards for a revolutionary sensor to be used in manufacturing CIGS solar cells, and one of eight winners of the Arizona Commerce Authority Innovation Challenge Grant Program for promoting innovation in the technology sector.
