Make democracy work for Latinos in Colorado -- new strategy driving this 61-year old non-profit organization. 1) Developing a new generation of civic leaders through the Capitol Fellowship Program -- in 14 years has 174 alums now in leadership positions in government, business, and nonprofits.  2) Collaborative Advocacy with other Latino organizations on issues that unite us.  And advocacy with coalitions of other like-minded organizations.  3) Research and Policy Analysis focuses on time-sensitive policy. CLLARO mission is to empower Latinos through leadership development, advocacy, and policy research to strengthen Colorado.  Vision is a State of Colorado where Latinos can achieve their fullest potential.  CLLARO was founded as LARASA Latin American Research and Service Agency.
