Columbia Power & Water Systems (CPWS) is a municipal utility provider serving the City of Columbia and much of Maury County, Tennessee.  

CPWS provides reliable electric service to approximately 33,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers located in the City of Columbia and parts of Spring Hill, TN. CPWS purchases its power from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and serves its customers through four delivery substations and more than 800 miles of power line.

CPWS' water system provides safe, quality drinking water to over 24,000 customers located in the City of Columbia and much of Maury County. Water is delivered to customers through an extensive distribution system composed of over 535 miles of water mains. CPWS maintains 13 water reservoirs and a state-of-the-art water filtration plant along the Duck River. 

CPWS' broadband division provides top-quality cable television, high-speed Internet and telephone services to homes and business throughout the City of Columbia.  CPWS PowerNet product delivers great value and incredible entertainment, informational and communication benefits to our customers.
